OUR STORY

TransEdge Truck Centers traces its roots back over a century, to the early 1920s, when Mack Trucks first set up shop in Allentown, Pennsylvania.

In 1969, Mack Trucks established a factory branch at 1407 Bulldog Drive, TransEdge's current flagship location, strategically positioned in "Bulldog Country," home of Mack Trucks' World Headquarters.

A new chapter began in 1990, when the Dwyer family purchased the factory-run operation and converted it to a private dealership. Operating as, "Allentown Mack Sales and Service.", the company began charting its own course with a strong focus on customer relationships, employee engagement, and strategic growth.

In 2006, the company evolved and rebranded into TransEdge Truck Centers, reflecting its expanded capabilities and broader service offerings.

Today, TransEdge operates six locations across Pennsylvania including rooftops in Allentown, Blue Mountain, Stroudsburg, and Pittsburgh. TransEdge expansion continued in 2026, with the opening of a reimagined, state-of-the-art new truck modification center.

Still family-owned and operated today by the second generation of Dwyers, TransEdge proudly supports Mack, Volvo, Hino, and Battle Motors truck lines. The future is bright.
