While the mDRIVE is an automated manual transmission built for Mack Pinnacle™ tractors. Both are trending! Volvo Trucks North America reports an AMT share of about 93% for all of the transmissions it now manufactures.

This shift in transmissions used in Class 8 trucks has skyrocketed over the past few years. Manual transmissions now represent a minority.
