Front Desk Receptionist – ALLENTOWN, PA
JOB SUMMARY
A full-time Front Desk Receptionist must properly represent the business to its customers and vendors by providing a high-quality telephone and secretarial service while maintaining a professional image. Candidate should be self-motivated, possess attention to detail, and have ability to work independently.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Function and Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome all guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer all incoming calls and redirect them to specific departments as required.
- Receive letters, small packages etc. and assist with distribution.
- Prepare outgoing mail for delivery to the post office.
- Address all telephone/in-person questions and complaints.
- Manage employee sign in/sign out sheets.
- Conduct filing, data entry, and office supply ordering.
- Ensure operation of printer equipment and breakroom coffee/water machines by coordinating repairs and maintaining inventories.
- Understand the importance of attendance, punctuality, and professional attire.
- Exhibit high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Perform other administrative duties as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- High School Diploma required.
- Notary certification highly preferred.
- 1-2 years’ experience in an administrative role.
- Reliable transportation to ensure proper front desk coverage.
- Must possess and use good interpersonal skills and can interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner.
- Display ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong computer skills highly desired.
