Truck Sales Representative – Allentown, PA

JOB SUMMARY

A Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Sales Representative must establish long lasting relationships with current and future commercial vehicle buyers. The job requires candidate to place outside sales calls to prospect customers and demonstrate the features and benefits of the Mack, Volvo, and Hino brand. Candidate should be self motivated and have ability to increase sales.

ESSENTIAL POSITION FUNCTIONS AND PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Possess a strong working knowledge of commercial trucks.
  • Be an active/aggressive salesperson, with the purpose to fulfill our customer’s needs for heavy duty trucks.
  • Excellent customer service capability and strong communication skills.
  • Participate in professional sales and product training.
  • Assist in developing specifications and ordering trucks.
  • Exhibit high level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
  • Provide management with key customer information.
  • Seek and develop new customers for profitable growth.
  • Meet sales volume and gross profit objectives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma required; College Degree preferred.
  • 2+ years direct sales experience preferred.
  • Must possess and use good interpersonal skills and have the ability to interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Display ability to work in a team oriented environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills highly desired.
  • Product and market knowledge a plus.
  • CDL a plus.
