JOB SUMMARY
An HR Coordinator requires candidate to assist with all stages of the employee life cycle. The role reports to the HR Manager and must create and maintain all employee files to ensure completeness of necessary forms and documentation. The role requires candidate to serve as point of contact for HR and benefit questions as needed and assist with internal/external events and employee programs.
Position Functions and Responsibilities:
- Partner with hiring managers to support recruiting activities, including job postings, scheduling of interviews, and drafting offer letters.
- Process new employment applications including pre-employment background screenings, reference checking, driving records, and drug testing.
- Distribute all new hire on-boarding packets, including welcome letter, W-4, I-9 and direct deposit forms.
- Assist with collection of formal annual review process for all employees.
- Conduct exit interview process in order to compile measurable data relevant to turnover and attrition.
- Manage quarterly random company-wide drug screening.
- Schedule & conduct on-boarding orientation with new staff.
- Assist with implementation and coordination of Employee Wellness Program, Annual Employee Survey and Quarterly Employee Newsletter.
- Prepare paperwork/spreadsheets for Health Insurance Renewals.
- Assist with planning luncheons, trainings, meetings, and employee & customer events.
- Provide coverage and relief for payroll and other administrative duties as needed.
- Other tasks as may be assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Human Resources/Marketing preferred.
- Marketing/Event Planning experience a plus, direct HR experience preferred.
- Solid time management and analytical skills are necessary.
- Strong computer skills highly desired – ADP and Microsoft Office experience a plus.
- Must possess and use good interpersonal skills and can interact well with customers, vendors, and co-workers in a positive and constructive manner.
